This is a 432-page textbook for MLS students. It is also a template I designed for future American Library Association textbooks. It is designed to accommodate complex, academic texts. There are 5 heading levels, multi-level lists, notes and references, tables, boxes, figures, and sidebars. The design is tight in order to keep page counts down. The openers are flexible to work with the presence or absence of various elements.
